I have always lacked self-confidence and envied those who were willing to try new things. It seemed that many did not fear anything; the bigger the risks the better they achieved their goals. They were confident in their abilities. Self-confident, they considered themselves self-sufficient.
I have changed my line of thinking. If I am self-confident and self-sufficient, I distance myself from the Lord's sustaining grace.
"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers ofthe new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth , but the spirit giveth life ( 2 Corinthians 3:5-6 KJV)."
His grace makes me the Pam that I am to be…
"But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain ( 1 Corinthians 15:10a KJV)."
