...to another faith by the same Spirit...
Thoughts for Today:Every one of us has some degree of faith, or else we wouldn't be saved. However, some people move with a more miraculous Christian experience than others. Why? I would say it is because of a stronger faith.
Acts 3:6: "Then Peter said [to the crippled beggar], 'Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.' Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong."
All the people were amazed at the healing. Acts 3:12-13,16: "When Peter saw this he said to them 'Men of Israel, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus... By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.'"
There are those today, who like Peter, regularly step out in the exercise of their faith. As a result, things happen that wouldn't otherwise happen. Faith is the ability to step out of logical and rational thinking, in response to the leading of the Spirit, to do something we could not (or would not) have done by any other means.
Questions to Ponder:Please don't misunderstand my commentary today -- I am not saying the reason someone does not receive healing is because of a lack of faith. Rather, what I am saying is -- our experience of the miraculous nature of God is dramatically improved, when we step out in faith, as the Holy Spirit leads. It can't happen otherwise. Faith is required. When was the last time you truly stepped out in faith? Will you continue to do so?
